Cashew DW :
DW standard cashew nuts (or: cashew nuts with knife marks, dark scorched cashew nuts, wrinkled cashew nuts, DW kite nuts. English: Dessert wholes, cashew) are cashew nuts with dark brown spots. Black spots, melasma, worms…….In the cashew nut classification system, the higher grade the nuts are, the larger they are, the better the flavor. The more nutrients in the nut, the greater the value.
Cashew Nut Production Process DW :
- Heat Treatment: The purpose of steaming cashew nuts is to use heat to make the hard shell of the cashew nut softer so that the outer shell of the cashew nut can be removed to get the white kernel inside. Raw cashew nuts are put into a mini boiler using direct heat, hot oil or steam… to heat the outer shell. After completing the heat treatment. The cashew nuts must be cooled for about 12 hours (half a day) before being split to get the kernel inside.
- Splitting the Shell to Harvest the Kernel: After heat treatment is completed. The cashew nuts are taken to the shell and quickly cut into the shell to remove the outer shell to get the kernel inside. This is a very difficult process. Requiring highly skilled workers to be able to split the cashew shell without breaking the kernel inside. After the shelling stage. We will have 3 products: Raw Cashew Shell, Raw Cashew Silk Shell, Raw Cashew Kernel. In which. Raw cashew kernels are passed through the grading & grading department to consider their level.
- Grading & Grading: The cashew grading process is designed to classify white cashew kernels into different grades. White kernels are divided into two main types: “Whole Kernels” and “Broken Kernels” . In exporting whole cashew nuts, Whole Kernels are divided into 15 different grades and Broken Kernels are divided into 9 grades.
